The most frequently asked question I see about racquetball in any of the online forums, is where (& when) can I find a game when I travel to (or move to) city XYZ?
Depending on the location, I usually reply with a link to the state association, any known tournament facilities from R2Sports, any discussion groups specific to that area on Facebook, and even specific individuals to contact when I know them.
Very frequently, I don’t have anything to add and the people from that area aren’t in the specific forum (or Facebook discussion group) that the question is being asked in, and so the traveler / new resident is left without the racquetball information that they need.
On February 18th, I sent out a trial balloon to see if there would be any interest in a ‘Featured Facility Friday’ series of articles for DailyRacquetball.com. I had 4 responses on Facebook (and no responses on different Facebook groups) and 2 responses on Reddit.
What do I want to know about your facility?
1) Name
2) Location
3) Phone number
4) Website
5) Facebook page, if any
6) Number of courts
7) Pro shop, if any
8) When players play during the week, broken down by days and times
9) Is there a league or challenge ladder there
10) Are there tournaments held there
